“We are overwhelmed by the support we received this year at our auction,” said Snohomish Education Foundation President, Robin Stefanson. “The amount of people and energy in the room was inspiring. Our community truly supports the education of our students and this event highlights that commitment.”

We are so excited to share with you that the 2017 “Imagine…Igniting the Power of Learning” Annual Auction held recently at the Tulalip Resort Casino raised over $250,000! This amount sets a new record for our annual fundraising event.

Over 340 guests attended the festive fundraising event benefiting student programs in the District. Featured speakers included Snohomish School District Superintendent, Dr. Kent Kultgen and Snohomish High School Principal, Eric Cahan.

Included in this amount was a record $69,700 raised specifically for classroom grants. One hundred percent of the classroom grant amount will be distributed during the 2017–2018 school year to classrooms K – 12 throughout the Snohomish School District. “We can’t wait to see what our teachers are planning and how they will use these funds to enhance the learning environment,” Stefanson said.
