Be someone worthy of followers. Lead with Character-Competence-Caring and Courage. This scholarship was established in 2015 and is to be awarded to an individual aspiring to continue their education who has demonstrated behaviors of strong leadership potential. This includes actions that demonstrate character, resiliency, self-reliance, caring and a hunger for competence – surmounting obstacles, pushing to achieve. The scholarship is designed to help this student further develop their potential with the ultimate goal of participating in the workforce and society in a leadership capacity – whether formally or informally, role modeling leadership worthy behaviors that attract and positively influence others.
