The Snohomish Education Foundation staff and trustees are happy to announce the appointment of four new trustees.

The Snohomish Education Foundation is working hard to extend its reach and include engaging new community leaders to promote and support student success by fulfilling the mission of the organization to “expand learning opportunities for Snohomish School District students”.

Louise Hanson is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner with Moss Adams and works in the Greater Seattle area. Louise brings a strong background in finance, practicing public accounting since 1999 and is a graduate of Western Washington University and lives in Snohomish.

Tanya Mock is Managing Broker with Windermere Real Estate in Snohomish where she lives and is involved in the business community. Tanya brings 14 years experience as a licensed real estate agent with strengths in leadership and administrative skills, along with a service and sales background.

Mona Gedney is Vice President –Community Banking Manager for Heritage Bank, Mill Creek branch.  Mona has been in banking since 1996 and currently oversees multiple branches within her market with a background in Retail Operations, Sales Development and Management.

Brenda Fodge works for Polygon Northwest Homes as Development Project Manger and is a graduate of Washington State University.  Brenda’s background in Project Management and Finance will bring a compliment of skills that will be of benefit to the board.

All four of the new board members have children who attend school in the Snohomish School District.  With the addition of the new members in Spring for 2017, the board will total a group of 17 members that oversee the Snohomish Education Foundation’s finances and strategic planning.
