The Burt Family fund began in 1994 when Wayne Burt decided he wanted to help the kids in his beloved home town of Snohomish.   This fund provides scholarships to graduating seniors as well as funds for special needs programs by teacher grants and medical and dental grants for students in need. Mr. Burt graduated from SHS in 1944. After college he worked as a partner with his brother in a local accounting firm until he retired in 1986. Mr. Burt passed away in 2013. His legacy lives through the numerous lives he change by “helping some kids outâ€.
