What a fitting way to honor and show gratitude to a man that tirelessly gave of himself to Snohomish High School and it's students. Well done!

Sure wish I could have been there and offered some words of my own. I would have said that I did not know Mr. Gilbertson personally, but the more I learn about who the man was and what made him do what he did, the more I feel like him. I hope my motives are always as pure and simple as his were.

I did not know Mark Albertine coached girls basketball. These stories are a history lesson for me. My dad coached girls basketball in Oregon for 12 years and would have appreciated an assistant like Gilb. Thanks to Mark for having the foresight to nudge Gilb into girls basketball and to Ken for listening to his instincts.
